Essential to Intermediate Matwork

PREREQUISITE: STOTT PILATES® Essential Matwork Workshop and/or
previous experience teaching or studying Pilates Mat exercise.

This interactive workshop teaches participants select exercises from the STOTT PILATES Essential and Intermediate Matwork repertoire. For participants already familiar with basic Matwork exercises, discover how to progress to more complex and intense Intermediate level skills. Learn how to challenge strength, flexibility and coordination, with an emphasis on the goals of the exercises, movement patterns, breath patterns and correct alignment.

Understand when a client is ready to move on to an Intermediate level.
